Nivin Pauly (born 5 October 1984) is an Indian actor, best known for his work in Malayalam films. He made his debut in Malarvaadi Arts Club (2010) directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan. He went on to act in several successful films including Thattathin Marayathu (2012), Neram (2013), Ohm Shanthi Oshaana (2014), 1983 (2014) and Bangalore Days(2014).He is considered as the Rising Superstar of Mollywood and the next big thing.

Nivin was born in Ernakulam, Kerala, India. He completed his schooling in Kendra Vidhyalya Kalamassery graduated with a B.Tech Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT), Angamaly in 2006.
He was employed by Infosys in Bangalore.
